Title:EventsManager
Reports to:General Manager

Responsibilities
Involvement in all aspects of major club functions including F&B events, seasonal parties, major and minor golf events, retail events, etc.
Create and executeplanning,meetings,BEO’s and Critical Paths for all events to includefloor plans, and timeline of event.
Keep departmental managers and staff aware of functions,changesand expectations, through clear and frequent communication.
Establish relationships with Members and encourageadditionalcatering revenue.
Uphold events and catering obligations related to the F&B budget.
Quote prices (furniture, rentals, photographer, music, flowers, decorations, A/V, decorations) and formulate contracts detailing services to be provided.
Ensure contracts/agreements for each event aresigned prior to ordering any event items.
In tandem with Member Services, responsible for the sales, marketing and promotion of all Member and Guest private events,functionsand activities, ensuring that all Member/Guest expectations are exceeded, Member Retention goals aremetand that Private Party and Member Relations plans are achieved.
The Events Managersupervisesexecutesset-ups, breakdowns, and quality of servicefor all banquet events in the Club and privateresidences
Field any Member or Guest questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
AssistMember Servicesas needed in the day-to-day operations of the department, when there arenotevents scheduled
Work withMember Servicesand Food &Beverage Departmentsin therequisitioningof staff andscheduling forevents,cateringand banquets.In addition,willneed to requisition contract labor staff from time to time.
Works with Executive Chef todetermineselling prices for catered events; oversees the development of contracts / agreements.
Helps develop catering sales budgets; reviews financial reports andtakescorrective actions as appropriate.
Ensureall events are billedaccuratelyand chits are turned inimmediately
Maintain banquet storage along with all items used for private and catering events.
Additionalduties asassigned by management.
Competencies for Success in the Role
College degreepreferred
1-2years of prior hospitality,cateringand eventexperience
Communication –Must have an outgoing & well-spoken personality be able to clearly interact with members and guests
Decision making - Applicantmust be efficient, detail-oriented, self-motivated
Coaching and mentoring other team members
Strongorganizationalandmulti-taskingskills are needed

Must be prepared to goabove and beyondnormal expectationson a daily basisaspertaining tothe membership and their requests; whatever, wherever, whenever, no matterwhatit takes to make it happen

The Company’s good faith estimate of the salary rate expected to pay for this role is $95,000 to $105,000 annually and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
