You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, agencies and marketing to deliver a broad range of programs and experiences for CommSec customers. Our culture is built on energy, pace, curiosity, care and commitment.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver end-to-end event management across a wide variety of strategic programs that support CommSec’s growth objectives and business goals.
  • Build and manage project plans, leading small to medium working groups to deliver programs on time, on budget and to a high standard.

  • Manage supplier governance in conjunction with compliance, procurement and event team members, ensuring supplier interactions are well managed and relationships are maximised.
  • Develop, maintain and improve relationships with creative agencies, event partners and external suppliers.
  • Assist in co-ordinating the creation of key customer content via our Media and Markets team as well as specialist content writers.
  • Ensure compliance with agreed operational governance structures to ensure content is packaged and delivered safely to our frontline teams.

Your skills and experience

  • Experience delivering end-to-end event programs, ideally within financial services, wealth, investing, trading, fintech or professional services.
  • A creative and customer-focused mindset, with a passion for designing experiences that engage, educate and inspire.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to connect event programs to broader marketing, content and customer engagement opportunities.
  • Strong project management capability, including the ability to build robust project plans and deliver against timing, objectives and budget.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders and drive results.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams to achieve strong outcomes.
  • Experience managing supplier and third-party partner relationships.
  • Knowledge of event management methodologies, tools, platforms and best practice.
  • A strong risk mindset, with the ability to proactively identify, understand, discuss and act on current and future risks.
