As part of our interview process, we request that candidates have their cameras on during video interviews. This helps foster meaningful conversation and allows us to create an experience that closely resembles our standard working environment. Certain interview steps may take place by phone. For remote roles, and at our discretion, candidates may be asked to participate in an on-site interview as part of the final stages of the process.

We’re looking for an Event Coordinator to join our Events team to support the planning and execution of all scheduled events, both internal and external — keeping deadlines, vendors, budgets, and onsite logistics on track from first booking through tear down.
You’ll report to the Manager, Events and work from our Santa Ana, CA or Plano, TX office. Remote or hybrid candidates will also be considered. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1 hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process.

Manage deadlines for multiple events.
Coordinate all event needs with a variety of vendors — ordering signage, utilities, furniture, décor, and all other items necessary for a successful presence at shows.
Track costs and report any financial concerns or liabilities in a timely manner.
Keep event costs within an allocated budget, communicating any financial risks to the Event Director as soon as possible.
Properly plan the details and anticipate potential problems that may arise.
Create booth and room layouts that include traffic flow, queue space, and electrical and internet drop placement for each event.
Travel to manage events onsite as needed throughout the year, including set up and tear down per event.
Audit event websites for all shows that Beckett will be attending, ensuring that show organizers are following all brand guidelines and that services, prices, and specials are accurate per event.
Lead by example and be a champion of all company policies, including safety, attendance & security
Who You Are:
At least 2 years of experience supporting conventions, trade shows, festivals, sports/collectibles events, gaming events, or experiential activations.
Calm under pressure and able to pivot quickly and solve problems effectively.
Able to work in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.
A self-starter who is operationally minded and self-directed.
Collaborative with other departments.
Organized, with strong attention to detail.
