General Summary
The Event Coordinator is a vital member of the Rocket Career Center team, responsible for leading efforts in data management, event logistics, and Handshake platform administration. This position ensures smooth operations across a wide range of functions, including compiling and analyzing data for reports, managing departmental budgets, and maintaining accurate records for presentations and major project plans for events.
Additionally, the role serves as the primary administrator for Handshake—reviewing and approving employers and job postings, managing events and career fairs within the platform, and providing technical support to students, staff, and external partners.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working with data, analyzing information, identifying trends or discrepancies, and using technology and analytical tools to produce accurate reports that support decision-making. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and technical skills are essential for success in this role.
