An Event Coordinator (Level 5) provides support in the coordination, delivery and administration of activities, events and experiences.
This role will:
• Provide coordination support for student facing activities, events and initiatives such as student orientation, information sessions, competitions and other events.
• Assist with the planning, delivery and administration of student activities in partnership with other internal stakeholders.
• Assist with the set up and delivery of online events and activities across a range of platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance at activities, events and initiatives.
• Provide support with the coordination of University merchandise for use at events, including processing of orders, tracking inventory and administering the online merchandise platform.
• Cooperate with all health & safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the psychosocial or physical health and safety of yourself or others. A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and experience:
• Relevant qualification with subsequent relevant experience or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience.
• Demonstrated experience in the planning, coordination and delivery of events.
• Excellent time management, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent level of skills in Microsoft Office software and other applications/databases.
