
Events & Community Operations Coordinator
Sunrise Center | Corte Madera, CA
Sunrise Center is seeking an organized, proactive, people-oriented team member to help
coordinate events, support presenters, engage our community, and assist with day-to-day
operations.
Responsibilities
Event Coordination
• Coordinate logistics for workshops, classes, speakers, concerts, and special events
• Communicate with presenters, facilitators, and guest speakers
• Manage event registration and attendee communications
• Assist with event setup and onsite operations
• Help ensure a positive experience for presenters and participants
• Support event follow-up and reporting
• Coordinate event details and communications with partner organizations, including Hale Akua
Garden Farm and related Maui programs when applicable
Community & Administrative Support
• Respond to participant inquiries by phone and email
• Maintain registration databases and participant records
• Track event attendance, registrations, and payments
• Coordinate registration, payment, and reporting processes with bookkeeping and administrative
support personnel
• Assist with scheduling and calendar management
• Prepare meeting notes and action items
• Help maintain organized digital files and systems
Marketing & Outreach Support
• Assist with email campaigns and newsletters
• Update website event listings
• Coordinate social media posts and event promotion
• Help increase attendance and community engagement
• Support outreach to presenters, partners, and community organizations
Qualifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable learning new software and systems

Position Details
• Part-time (20–25 hours per week)
