Compensation: $21.30/hr
Schedule: This position is up to 19.5 hours per week with a flexible schedule. Up to 40 hours per week during breaks.

The Office of Ceremonies and Events is seeking a current UW student to service in the role of Events and Communications Assistant. The ideal applicant will possess knowledge of the digital medial landscape and pass for events and event planning. This position will manage a conisistent online presence across mulitple social media platforms and will be assisting in planning and staff events.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Current UW Bothell student; open to all majors and disciplines.
Enrolled in 6 or more undergraduate credits (or 5 graduate credits) for the quarter.
Contribute professionally and respectfully to our diverse and inclusive work environment.
Social media experience and an elevated level of familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, photo, and video trends, etc.
Understanding of content best practices, marketing, the user journey, and storytelling.
Possess a strong work ethic with a demonstrated passion for creating compelling and innovative content.
Experience in graphic design, Canva, and an eye for design.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively.
Strong customer service, written, and interpersonal skills.
ELIGIBILITY
Work study is preferred.
