We are currently seeking an outstanding Events & Catering Manager to join our team.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Catering & Banquet Manager:

  • Planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating all catering and event activities that involve Food & Beverage.
  • Consult with residents and staff to determine event needs.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen staff to discuss menus and ensure event needs are met.
  • Work with the Dining Room Manager to ensure proper staffing for events.
  • Manage staff in Dining Room Managers absence.
  • Under the guidance of the CLS Director, assists with planning and coordinating activities and events, including but not limited to, discussion groups, clubs, cultural activities, religious services, special entertainment, off-campus trips, special events, IT support, in-house movies, instructional courses, presentations, marketing events, holiday parties, etc.
  • Assist with preparing and distributing the monthly and weekly newsletters, event flyers and other communications.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent. Servsafe certified preferred.
  • A minimum of five years supervisory experience within restaurant, club, hotel, or similar institution preferred.
  • Ability to communicate and empathize with residents, visitors, peers, supervisors, and subordinates.
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen.
  • Valid Drivers license.
