To support the continued growth of HYROX Italy, we are looking for a dynamic Event Workforce Manager (d/w/m) to join our team in Milan As the Event Workforce Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the HYROX Event Team for designated events, ensuring operational excellence and upholding the HYROX brand image.
End-to-End Planning: Plan and manage event team requirements, including budgeting, forecasting, and contingency planning for all assigned events.
Recruitment & Strategy: Develop strategies for successful recruitment, training, and reward systems to boost the HYROX Event Team (Judges and support roles).
VMS Management: Recruit, onboard, and schedule team members using our internal platform (Rosterfy/VMS).
On-site Leadership: Oversee the team on-site, manage check-in/out, uniform distribution, and facilitate high-impact briefings.
Specialist Pipelines: Own the development and progression of Judge and Head Judge pipelines to ensure sporting quality.
Logistics & Accommodation: Research and book all necessary accommodation for the event team across various host cities.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Race Directors, Marketing, and Gym Affiliation teams to align workforce needs with recruitment strategies.
Reporting: Conduct post-event evaluations, track performance/retention metrics, and manage budget adherence.
Experience: 2+ years in event workforce or volunteer management (ideally in sports or mass-participation events).
Leadership: Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams (volunteers, contractors, and agency staff).
Organizational Talent: Strong budget management skills and the ability to handle complex logistics (e.g., travel & accommodation).
Communication: Confident communicator, able to lead briefings and act as the primary point of contact for the team and hotels.
Digital Savvy: Proficient in workforce management tools (e.g., Rosterfy) and standard office software.
Flexibility: Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours during event weekends.
Passion: A deep interest in sports and live event operations; familiarity with the HYROX community is a plus.

HYROX is a new global fitness race designed for any and every fitness enthusiast. The one-day events take place in large arenas and are comprised of 8 x 1km runs and 8 functional fitness stations. Each competitor has his/her own personal completion time to compare to everyone else around the world and improve upon in subsequent events similar to a runner in a marathon.
