Position type: Exempt

The Events Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and continuously improving high-impact marketing events across the Americas. This role owns the strategy and execution of regional trade shows, U.S. Technical Center customer and training events, and distributor-led experiences, with a focus on supporting go-to-market priorities, driving demand, and building stronger customer and partner relationships. The role blends event execution excellence with experience design, turning technical expertise into compelling, commercial, and educational live experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Research, evaluate and benchmark trade shows and industry events across relevant market sectors

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of regional and national trade shows

  • Adapt global event concepts, messaging, and booth designs for the Americas

  • Manage logistics, vendors, agencies, and on-site execution

  • Coordinate with sales teams on objectives, staffing, demos, and meetings.

  • Ensure effective lead capture, follow-up processes, and post-event reporting.

  • Track event ROI, cost per lead, and pipeline contribution

  • Experience with CRM systems (ideally MS Dynamics) for lead capture and reporting.

  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools is a plus

  • Develop customer, prospect, and training event concepts for the U.S. Technical Center.

  • Design and execute events targeted at distributors and their end customers

  • Create distributor-ready event toolkits (agenda templates, presentations, demos)

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related discipline required.

  • 4-8 years’ experience in a marketing communication, events planning, or similar role.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

  • Enthusiastic and collaborative attitude

  • Ability to prioritize and work independently.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Between 25% to 50% travel/overnight stays required – a valid drivers license is required. International trips maybe required.
