Tātaki Auckland Unlimited (TAU) is Auckland’s cultural, events and destination agency.

Auckland Convention Bureau (ACB) as part of TAU, plays a key role in positioning Auckland as a leading business events destination, driving economic growth and delivering value for our vibrant business events community.

We’re looking for an experienced Event Services Manager to deliver high-quality events, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and contribute to measurable business results that support Auckland’s growth as a premium destination for domestic and international business events.

This role is highly stakeholder-facing and hands-on, combining event delivery, relationship management, and strategic input to support ACB’s programme of work.

This role may involve local and national travel, along with some out-of-hours work to support industry events, functions and hosting.

With strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills, you’re comfortable engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and presenting professionally. You bring a proactive, customer-focused approach, are confident using CRM systems, and enjoy thinking creatively to continuously improve ways of working.

To guide you further, we hope to see a relevant tertiary qualification and at least five years’ experience in event management and stakeholder engagement, ideally within the business events, tourism, convention or hospitality sector. You’re results-driven, highly organised and confident delivering outcomes against agreed targets and timelines.

Salary Band: G

Salary is based on skillset and experience.
