LA CONDESA is hiring for an EVENT SALES MANAGER

Compensation: 65-70K base salary + incentive plan

Location: Hybrid / Remote + On-Site (Austin TX)

Malverde, the 2nd floor private event space for La Condesa is a 1,200 square foot space perfect for hosting seated dinners for up to 50 guests and cocktail receptions of up to 125 guests. From corporate dinners and SXSW activations to intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, and other life celebrations - this space is equipped to host all kinds of events and occasions, and with a dedicated event team - it exceeds client expectations time after time!

The Malverde Event Sales Manager is responsible for effectively prospecting, securing, and executing group and private events for Malverde at La Condesa. The Event Sales Manager must possess excellent communication and organizational skills as well as an understanding of New Waterloo culture.

What you'll do:

• Drive new business development and foster strong community engagement
• Manage client accounts to ensure satisfaction, retention, and repeat business
• Respond to and convert incoming leads into confirmed events
• Host site visits to prospective and existing clients to showcase event spaces
• Develop detailed proposals, banquet event orders, and other essential reports
• Draft contracts and collect initial deposits to secure events
• Collaborate with onsite F&B teams to coordinate menus and event details
• Review BEO's to confirm final arrangements, including menu selections, timelines, signage instructions, etc.
• Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline
• Oversee deposit and billing schedules, including collecting final payments for post-event charges where applicable
• Conduct monthly audits with accounting to ensure accuracy of transactions
• Partner with the Marketing Manager to support community events and marketing initiatives
• Attend weekly Sales Team meetings with other New Waterloo Event Sales Managers
