Help bring some of Sydney’s most iconic harbourside precincts to life. As the Event Production Coordinator, you'll support the delivery of events, activations and place experiences across locations including The Rocks, Darling Harbour, Barangaroo and White Bay Power Station. Working closely with internal teams, contractors and event crews, you'll help turn creative ideas into safe, engaging and memorable experiences for visitors.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll coordinate production schedules, logistics, equipment, contractors and event operations while balancing competing priorities, managing stakeholder expectations and helping ensure events are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Placemaking NSW is responsible for managing and caring for some of Sydney’s most iconic harbourside venues and locations, including The Rocks, Barangaroo, Darling Harbour, Sydney Fish Market and White Bay Power Station. Our responsibilities include the full range of activities in our precincts, from major developments to heritage conservation, from delivery of Sydney’s hall mark events to weekly markets, making these areas welcoming, accessible and successful. Our team includes a wide range of professionals across multiple disciplines contributing to the coordinated management of the foreshore precincts.
