Job Category: Fan Development & RetailThe Event Operations Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of internal turnkey events and organizational event initiatives. This role serves as an operational partner to internal departments, coordinating event intake, planning, logistics and execution while helping create additional capacity within the Events team.
The position oversees the event intake and request process, ensuring needs are captured, prioritized, and planned effectively. The role also supports event forecasting, resource planning, and process standardization to create an efficient and service-oriented approach as organizational event needs continue to grow.
This is a full-time hourly position reporting to the Manager, Event Presentation. The work schedule requires flexibility, including availability for events and game nights during evenings, weekends, and holidays. The primary work location is the Thunder corporate office at Paycom Center in downtown Oklahoma City, with some events requiring travel throughout the metro area. A valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation are required. Physical requirements include lifting up to 25 pounds and bending. The work environment may include loud music, crowd noise, and outdoor work in both hot and cold weather conditions.
