The company’s offerings include Retail Leasing, Retail Financing, Commercial Financing for new and used vehicles, and End-of-Term vehicle disposition.

This is a 20 month contract
Internal Grade: Grade 8

The Event Marketing Specialist will lead the planning and execution of all Marketing events that drive engagement and elevate brand presence. Working closely with the Manager, Marketing and cross-functional teams, this role ensures every event is strategically designed, creatively developed, and delivered with excellence to support Dealer and Employee satisfaction. Responsibilities also include managing promotional product orders and inventory, overseeing the ongoing purchasing requirements of the Marketing Department, and acting as the primary support for all Dealer Communications and Events.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Request for Proposal process, including the coordination of all logistical aspects of the meeting that contribute to increased Dealer Satisfaction
• Develop and refine presentations, templates, and internal guides for Executives, Dealers, and Employees, ensuring alignment with corporate design standards and consistent brand application
• Work with Brand teams to plan and execute joint events, aligning on objectives, messaging, and standards for a smooth experience
• Manage all corporate event Sponsorships, including maintaining relationships with key partners to ensure successful collaboration and brand alignment.
• Manage all aspects of promotional merchandise, including planning, forecasting, field communications, and inventory control, to ensure smooth execution and alignment with brand objectives
• Oversee the Marketing department’s Purchasing, Invoicing and Reconciliation process and ensures that it follows Corporate Purchasing guidelines
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely delivery of event materials.

Required Qualifications

Formal education
• University degree required (Marketing or Corporate Communication)

Experience
• 2 to 5 years Event Marketing experience
• Strong background in planning corporate events, meeting planning, tradeshow management, and overall events coordination

Competencies
• Fluently bilingual in French and English written and spoken
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional Project Management skills
• Experience with online applications and HTML creation is an asset
• Experience with Adobe Suite, including InDesign and Photoshop
• Ability to lead a cross-functional team
• Attention to detail
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is an asset

Work flexibility
• This position is Hybrid
• Availability for occasional travel, as per business requirements

Salary range is dependent on factors such as industry-based experience, skills, training, credentials, and other qualifications. The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $110,500, actual pay may vary based on experience, education, and internal compensation practices.
