ABOUT THE ALLWYN UK COMMUNICATIONS AND EVENTS TEAM:

The Allwyn UK Communications and events team's mission is two-fold: to promote and protect the reputation

of Allwyn UK as the custodian of The National Lottery, and to create excitement and a positive landscape for

The National Lottery to flourish.

A bit about the role

Reporting to the Senior Event Manager, responsible for delivery of high-profile corporate and stakeholder events across the business. Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure events and projects meet business objectives and support strategic priorities. whilst ensuring that corporate events, stakeholder engagements, and industry conferences are aligned with the organisation’s reputation and visibility while supporting broader corporate affairs initiatives

What you’ll be doing

Event Delivery and Project Management:

  • Planning, development and execution to a high standard of a diverse portfolio of events including conferences, corporate dinners, comms campaigns, games launches, promotions and trade exhibitions.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery, including venue research, creative and branding, budgets, logistics, guest management, on-site execution and post-event evaluation.
  • Oversee supplier and vendor relationships, including agencies, venues, production teams, and catering
  • Working with the team the to manage event admin including delegate lists, invites, communications, accommodation, subsistence, entertainment and travel
  • Ensure brand consistency across all event materials, signage, and digital assets

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
  • Provide regular updates to the Senior Event Manager and ensure alignment throughout the event lifecycle

Operational Excellence:

Working with the Senior Event Manager to:

  • Design and deliver standout corporate events and projects
  • Manage event budgets and supplier relationships
  • Ensure highest standards of event delivery
  • Running live events and projects to a high standard
  • Maintain strong attention to detail across all aspects of delivery

Onsite Delivery:

  • Manage suppliers on-site for build, set up and strike
  • Ensure smooth running of events
  • Event documentation and briefings to suppliers and event support
  • Support with registration where required
  • Action ad hoc requests to support the onsite delivery to the highest standard

What experience we’re looking for

  • Proven experience working cross-functionally to deliver complex projects with multiple deliverables
  • Proactive, with good interpersonal, organisation skills
  • Ability to work across different levels of the organisation with strong stakeholder management skills
  • Creative mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality experiences
  • A keen interest in event production and the ability to understand technical planning
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills with self-motivation and drive, has a can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flawless attention to detail
  • Flexible approach to work – due to the nature of the role, it will involve some evenings, occasional weekend work to deliver specific events
  • Calm under pressure
  • Understanding of professional environments
  • Good understanding of different virtual meeting/event platforms
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Plan and deliver standout corporate events and projects
  • Work with the Senior Event Manager to create engaging experience for key stakeholders
  • Events are well-organized, well-executed and memorable for all attendees
  • Deliver events with-in budget
  • Ensure we align with Allwyn’s social values
