Job Title: Temporary Event Lot Attendant
Department: Commercial Parking Division
Reports To: Commercial Parking Manager
Schedule: Temporary / Event-Based (Various shifts from June 16,2026 – July 11,2026)
Status: Non-Exempt
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
The Temporary Event Lot Attendant supports parking operations during high-volume events by providing excellent customer service, directing traffic, monitoring parking areas, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working outdoors in fast-paced event settings.

Duties and Responsibilities
Traffic & Parking Operations
• Direct vehicles safely and efficiently throughout parking areas
• Assist guests with parking instructions and lot navigation
• Monitor lot capacity and maintain organized traffic flow
Customer Service
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer questions and assist with parking-related concerns
• Provide a positive guest experience during event operations
Cash Handling & Documentation
• Issue tickets and process payments accurately when applicable
• Maintain shift logs and document parking activity as required
• Track revenue and complete required operational paperwork
Safety & Security
• Monitor the parking area for unsafe or suspicious activity
• Ensure vehicles are parked according to company procedures
• Report incidents, hazards, or operational concerns promptly
Teamwork & Professionalism
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members using radios or mobile communication tools
• Arrive on time and maintain consistent attendance
• Follow company policies, uniform standards, and operational procedures
Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous customer service or parking experience is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
• Dependable, professional, and guest-service oriented
Licenses & Background Requirements
• Valid driver’s license required
• Reliable transportation required
• Clean motor vehicle record preferred
• Successful completion of a background check required
Physical Demands & Work Environment
This role requires extended periods of standing, walking, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary and remain alert in active parking environments with moving vehicles and large crowds. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
Technology Use
Employees may use personal mobile devices for work-related communication or operational applications in accordance with company policy.
Overtime
All non-exempt employees are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
