Position: Event Setup/ Warehouse Associate
Location: Behind the Scenes Catering located in Sorrento Valley
Reports To: Director of Operations
Schedule: Part-time position with up to 40 hours a week. 7am-3:30pm
Pay Rate: $16-20 depending on experience.

Job Description: As an event Setup/ Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events and maintaining an organized warehouse space. Your Responsibilities include:
· Assist in the load in and setup and breakdown of event spaces as well as loading out of events.
· Receive, inspect, and inventory event equipment and supplies upon delivery.
· Maintain accurate recordings of inventory levels and work with Director of Operations to maintain inventory.
· Ensure that all event equipment is clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition.
· Perform basic maintenance tasks and coordinate with Director of Operations for repairs or replacements when necessary.
· Assist in loading and unloading event equipment onto trucks or vans.
· Safely transport equipment to warehouse post event.
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines during all transportation activities.
· Keep warehouse clean and organized to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of equipment.
· Label and categorize items for easy identification and access.
· Work closely with team members to ensure seamless event set up and warehouse operations.
· Communicate effectively with event planners and coordinators to meet event requirements.
· Prior experience with event setup or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
· A Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
· Ability to lift heavy objects.
· Available to work evenings and or weekends.
· Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts preferred but not required.
