From exclusive broker receptions and VIP buyer experiences to sales activations and community events, you'll be at the center of planning and executing programs that help introduce guests to the magic, vision, and storytelling that make Cotino unlike anywhere else. In this role, you'll partner closely with sales, operations, food and beverage, and community teams to coordinate every stage of the event lifecycle, from initial planning and guest communications to onsite execution and post-event follow-up. You'll help bring together prospective buyers, homeowners, brokers, members, and guests through thoughtfully curated experiences that support business goals while delivering exceptional guest service. Success in this role requires strong collaboration, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, all while helping create experiences that strengthen relationships, drive engagement, and contribute to the continued growth and differentiation of the Cotino community.

You will report to the Manager, Events and Entertainment.

This is a Full-time role.

Responsibilities/You Will:

• Plan and coordinate a variety of events and experiences across the Cotino® community, including sales activations, broker engagement programs, VIP buyer experiences, homeowner events, and community gatherings
• Serve as a primary event planning partner by developing timelines, managing logistics, tracking deliverables, and ensuring all event details are organized and executed seamlessly
• Partner with the Broker Outreach Specialist to support broker previews, networking events, relationship-building initiatives, and other programs that foster engagement within the local brokerage community
• Manage event communications and guest experience logistics, including invitations, guest lists, RSVP tracking, registration processes, event materials, and onsite readiness
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate catering, entertainment, staffing, vendors, operational support, and other event-related services
• Maintain event calendars, planning documents, operational trackers, inventories, and reporting tools to ensure accurate information and effective event execution
• Lead onsite event coordination activities, monitoring operations in real time, troubleshooting issues, coordinating setup and breakdown efforts, and helping deliver exceptional experiences for guests and stakeholders
• Build strong partnerships with Sales, Community Operations, Club Operations, Marketing, Member Services, Builder Partners, and other stakeholders to support event planning and execution
• Communicate event updates, key milestones, logistical requirements, and follow-up actions to ensure alignment across teams and partners
• Track attendance, event outcomes, guest feedback, and operational insights to help identify opportunities for continuous improvement and future event success

Basic Qualifications/You Have:

• 2+ years’ experience coordinating events, hospitality programs, guest experiences, or operational initiatives in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, project coordination, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and proactively drive work to completion
• Strong guest service mindset with the ability to build positive relationships and deliver exceptional experiences
• Ability to adapt quickly, solve problems effectively, and remain composed in dynamic or evolving situations
• Proficiency using technology and systems to manage event logistics, communications, registrations, and reporting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Disney environment or delivering Disney-caliber guest service experiences
• Experience in hospitality, resorts, conventions, events, sales activations, community programming, or guest relations
• Experience with event registration, banquet event planning, CRM, or related event management systems
• Experience supporting luxury hospitality, lifestyle, residential, destination, or member-based experiences

• High School Diploma

The pay rate for this role in Rancho Mirage, CA is $29.00 per hour.
