Barfection Events is on the lookout for experienced and cocktail-trained Event Bartenders to join our dynamic team. You'll be representing Barfection at a wide variety of events — from elegant hotel functions and buzzing bars to stylish private parties and large-scale hospitality venues across Liverpool.
This is an exciting opportunity for confident and capable bartenders who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy variety in their work, and take pride in delivering polished, high-quality service. You’ll need to hit the ground running, so at least 1 year of bar experience is essential
Whether you’re shaking up classics or creating bespoke drinks for special occasions, your flair, speed, and professionalism will make a lasting impression on guests — and keep the drinks flowing smoothly behind the scenes.
Serve cocktails, spirits, beers, and wines with confidence, speed, and attention to detail
Maintain excellent product knowledge and ensure consistent drink quality
Deliver high-standard customer service across diverse settings and clientele
Set up, stock, and break down bar areas efficiently and professionally
Work as part of a team across events, hotels, bars, and restaurant shifts
Adhere to all licensing laws, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
Represent Barfection Events with a positive, can-do attitude at every booking
Minimum 1 year’s experience working behind a bar (essential)
Confident in cocktail preparation and mixology techniques
Able to adapt to different venues and team dynamics
Professional, reliable, and comfortable working in high-pressure environments
Friendly, enthusiastic, and customer-focused
Must be punctual, well-presented, and a strong communicator
Flexible availability is a bonus – especially weekends and evenings
Flexible shifts across hotels, events, bars, and restaurants in Liverpool
Temporary contract with on-demand scheduling

Founded in 2017, Barfection set out with a vision to support disengaged youth to find their place in the world. Through the combination of our love for education and the hospitality industry, we paired our bespoke training with placement opportunities and local employers to provide a 360 degree training experience which prepared our young people for the amazing, yet challenging world of work.
Since successfully supporting our first group of learners into employment which consisted of 7 young people from the Liverpool City Region, we now operate in Leeds, London and Manchester supporting 250+ learners a year into employment, providing recruitment support for employers, offering development qualifications for existing staff and developing leadership teams of the future.
