The Strategy, Planning, and Analytics Department works collaboratively with each department across the organization to support strategy formulation, growth plan execution, project management, and strategic business operations planning. The team provides the organization with in-depth analytical support by evaluating existing operations and new business opportunities. The team helps lead and advise cross-functional project teams in executing the many action items, special projects, and enhanced operations that help NYRR reach its strategic objectives. The Membership program also resides within the department, as we introduce strategic enhancements to the program.
As an impact driven non-profit, NYRR tracks and evaluates the impact of our organization. The Evaluation Lead’s core responsibility is to manage and implement our evaluation framework, so NYRR can continuously improve the quality and impact of our events, youth and community programs. This role requires strong data analysis, collaboration and communication skills, leadership and problem-solving skills.

In partnership with teams across the organization synthesize multiple sources of data into written reports that are communicative, visually appealing, and shared with senior leadership, board, and external partners/stakeholders
3+ years of experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods: Survey design, focus group/interview guide development, data collection, management and analysis
Education & Certifications:
Undergraduate degree in statistics, psychology, sociology, public policy, public health, public affairs or related field and/or successful completion of relevant coursework in program evaluation, analytics, or statistics
