37.5The Evaluation and Impact Manager leads the office-wide evaluation and impact portfolio for the Confluence Collaborative for Community Engagement at Washington University in St. Louis. This position is primarily responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust evaluation systems that generate actionable data to strengthen programs, guide decision-making, and demonstrate community engagement impact across the University.
The Manager will be a major contributor and writer for the University's Carnegie Classification for Community Engagement application. This self-study process requires collaboration with units across campus to build shared evaluation infrastructure and ensure that evidence and learning are at the center of the Collaborative's work.

Required Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a relevant field such as public health, social work, education, sociology, public policy, or a related discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD in evaluation, public health, social sciences, public policy, or a related field.
Demonstrated knowledge of program evaluation frameworks, logic models, theories of change, and mixed-methods research design.
Hands-on experience developing and administering data collection tools (surveys, interview guides, focus groups) and analyzing both quantitative and qualitative data.
Proven ability to synthesize data into clear, compelling reports and presentations for varied audiences including practitioners, leadership, and funders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a track record of making complex findings accessible to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated commitment to equitable, ethical, and culturally responsive evaluation practices when working with diverse communities.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple evaluation projects, timelines, and campus relationships simultaneously.
