The role: European Sales Director

Reporting directly to the Head of Sales and working in partnership and co-ordination with the rest of the global sales team, you will be expected to help set the European sales strategy and execution, working closely with other senior stakeholders across Partnerships, Marketing, Operations and Capital Markets, to deliver results.

You will play a critical role in scaling TreasurySpring’s presence across key European markets, having ideally covered those clients in your past career. You will be able to demonstrate a strong focus on corporate treasury teams, financial institutions and other alternative managers (especially in the Netherlands and Luxembourg), and be able to understand their treasury methodology, processes and structure. to identify and build relationships with key stakeholders, to accelerate and convert new opportunities, to push new opportunities through the sales funnel, as quickly as possible.

This is a senior, client-facing commercial role, responsible for driving new business opportunities using your existing “rolodex” as well as prospecting through traditional and less traditional methods. Success will be measured on, growing Assets Under Management (AUM), and deepening strategic client relationships across new onboardings, activations and cross selling the TreasurySpring offering.

TreasurySpring is registered for sale in the Benelux and the successful candidate will be expected to focus their sales efforts in these locations mainly, but able to service clients in other locations such as Switzerland and the Nordic regions, which are under consideration for future expansion opportunities, too.

This role combines hands-on origination, strategic account leadership, and team collaboration, and is suited to a commercially driven individual who thrives in a scaling fintech environment.

Requirements

What we’re looking for: Requirements

  • Own and execute the European sales strategy, aligned with overall commercial objectives and AUM growth targets for the region.

  • Drive new client acquisition across Europe, with a focus on institutional corporates, asset managers and alternative investment firms.

  • Build, manage and grow a robust sales pipeline, converting prospects into long-term, recurring clients.

  • Develop and deepen senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on cash investment and liquidity solutions.

  • Lead complex sales processes from initial engagement, brining senior stakeholders at TreasurySpring into the conversation if applicable. Continue to oversee the sales process until go-live, working closely with Operations and Client Services to achieve results.

  • Partner with the Head of Sales on forecasting, target-setting and performance reporting across the European region.

  • Contribute to the development of pricing, product positioning and go-to-market strategy, feeding frequent client insight back into Capital Markets, Product and Leadership teams.

  • Collaborate with Partnerships to identify and execute referral and distribution opportunities across Europe, working with TreasurySprings key strategic partners.

  • Represent TreasurySpring at industry events, conferences and client meetings, enhancing brand visibility and market credibility.

  • Act as a senior ambassador for TreasurySpring’s culture, values and non-negotiables in all client and partner interactions.
