European Automotive Technician (A Level / B+ Tech) – $40–$55/hr – No Weekends

Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $40–$55/hour Flat Rate (Depending on Experience Level)
Vehicle Focus: 90–95% European Vehicles | 5–10% Asian Imports
Relocation Assistance: Available for the right candidate

Promotive is hiring experienced European Automotive Technicians for a highly respected independent European and import repair shop in Kalamazoo, MI. Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on European and import vehicles
• Complete bumper-to-bumper repairs including engine, suspension, steering, electrical, and drivetrain systems
• Diagnose complex drivability and performance concerns using modern diagnostic equipment
• Perform maintenance and repair work on brands such as BMW, Audi, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Porsche, MINI, Volvo, and other imports
• Utilize digital vehicle inspections and service documentation tools
• Collaborate with service advisors and team members to ensure accurate repair recommendations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
• Stay current with evolving automotive technology and repair procedures

Qualifications

• 10+ years of automotive technician experience required
• 3+ years of hands-on experience working specifically on European vehicles in a professional shop
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to independently perform bumper-to-bumper repairs
• ASE Certifications and/or Michigan State Certifications preferred
• Experience using scan tools and advanced diagnostic software
• Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
