Job Description

Key Activities:

  • Responsible for ensuring proper R2R activities according to SLA
  • Preparation of general ledger account reconciliations
  • Posting of manual business transactions and monitoring SAP GL accounts; journal vouchers
  • Monitoring cost allocations, WIPs, accruals
  • Calculation and posting of complex manual business transactions in accordance with local work instructions
  • Oversee the correct preparation and calculation of internal recharging to other Group companies
  • MEC activities
  • Perform daily check on reconciliation of external systems into SAP GL
  • The reconciliation of intercompany balances.
  • Preparation of audit files if necessary
  • Achieve performance objectives agreed with Team Lead
  • Contribute to Financial Accounting and Control process improvement initiatives as required
  • Other instructions issued by supervisors

Skills required:

  • BSc in Economics or Business Administration with Major in accounting. Professional certification such as a CPA or a CIMA is an advantage
  • 1st level Accounting Course in Stowarzyszenie Księgowych as an advantage
  • 1-3 years experience in accounting area preferably General Ledger
  • Fluent command of English (oral and written skills)
  • Experience working within General Ledger process, or other core financial processes, within a complex, large volume environment would be an advantage
  • SSC experience would be an advantage
  • Good working knowledge of SAP, Scanning and workflow technology would be an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Office (Excel) would be an advantage
  • Good understanding of financial processes

  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of VBA and experience in creating macros for Excel is a plus.
  • Experience in usage digital tools within domain:
  • Small improvements identifications and implementation is a must. Experience in Lean Techniques, usage is an advantage,
  • Experience with participation in simple projects is a must. Leading project is a plus
  • Knowing and understanding project management methodology and tools is a plus
  • ERP (data customization), experience with SAP tables review and usage is a plus. Experience in non-standard ERP functionalities usage is a plus.
  • Ability to identify digital tool applicability within area of expertise (RPA, VBA, AI) is a plus.
