To support this mission, Syngenta’s Hiring Team is seeking a Hybrid Europe Seeds Logistics Coordinator in Budapest. The Europe Seeds Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient execution of transport and warehouse activities from European Sourcing plants to our internal and external customers with excellent service levels to our customers. This role focuses on day-to-day delivery coordination with Order Managers, Warehouses, 4PL partners and other internal stakeholders (Site Logistics, Quality, Customer Service).

Accountabilities:

• Ensure daily and on time delivery form sourcing plants to different stakeholders (Commercial Units, Third party customers, tollers…).
• Be the focal point for the 4PL regarding all the daily operations.
• Ensure that 4PL or carriers (depending the flows) have the correct information to execute the transport, follow up this execution and collect the transport proofs (CMR).
• Closely work and communicate with the Overland transport Operator and the Global mode operator in order to escalate all the reccuring issues link to the 4PL.
• Actively communicate with the supply chain stakeholders to identify and correct issues in a timely fashion (complaints follow up).
• Collect and ensure that the appropriate documentation is available depending the destination country and check accuracy of the whole set of documents for each shipment.
• Be the focal point for the warehouse and site logistics (syngenta or tollers).
• Effectively follow the key Syngenta business processes to ensure supply performance is delivered.
• Ensure Syngenta's licence to operate is maintained by full adherence to Syngenta policies and processes.
• Develop skills and knowledge to support added value activities such as projects, improvement work, logistics expertise etc.

Qualifications

Required:

• Degree in supply chain, world-wide Logistics, transport or equivalent working experience
• Export business expertise
• Foreign trade knowledge
• Strong knowledge of transportation and warehousing operations (road, sea, air)
• Experience with 3PL / 4PL operating models
• SAP or similar ERP systems knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluent English language knowledge
• Fluent Hungarian language knowledge
