Job Description

Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Eurocentral, Motherwell

Shift: Rotating 2-week pattern, 10am - 10pm

Salary: Competitive

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Logistics & Distribution team at Eurocentral, leading warehouse operations and supporting the delivery of outstanding service to both our internal and external customers.

As part of one of the UK's leading speciality bakery groups, you'll play a key role in ensuring materials and finished goods move through our operation safely, accurately, and on time. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll lead and develop warehouse colleagues, drive operational performance, and help create a safe, organised, and high-performing working environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse supervisory experience who enjoys motivating teams, improving processes, and making a real difference to operational performance. The role also offers genuine development opportunities, including progression pathways to First Line Manager level and access to management leadership training.

This is what you’ll actually do!

You'll provide day-to-day leadership for your designated warehouse area, ensuring operational KPIs are achieved on an hourly and shift basis while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and service.

You'll lead from the front, creating a positive team culture and ensuring colleagues understand expectations, targets, and priorities throughout the shift.

A key focus of the role will be driving performance through effective use of warehouse KPIs and BI reporting. You'll support the achievement of OTIF (On Time In Full) performance, monitor picking productivity, and ensure stock is available and processed efficiently to support customer demand.

You'll take ownership of Health, Safety and Environmental performance within your area, ensuring strong housekeeping standards, compliance with SOPs, completion of daily equipment checks, and active participation in accident investigations and risk assessments. Creating a safety-first culture will be central to your role.

You will champion quality and food safety standards, ensuring compliance with PPE requirements, process controls, GMP standards, and site procedures. You'll work closely with colleagues to address and resolve any deviations while maintaining operational excellence.

People development will be a significant part of your role. You'll coach, train, and support team members to improve capability, develop skills, and strengthen succession planning within the warehouse operation. You'll also support designated deputies as they develop into future leadership roles.

Effective communication will be essential. You'll keep teams engaged and informed through shift briefings, handovers, notices, and daily communication, ensuring alignment across shifts and departments including Stock, Transport, and wider site operations.

You'll also contribute to continuous improvement activity, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, performance, and service while helping the business adapt to changing customer and operational requirements.

This is a varied, fast-paced role where no two days are the same, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills and build a long-term career within a growing business.

Ideally this is you!

  • Previous management experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar leadership role
  • Experience working within a warehouse, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment
  • Strong people leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop others
  • Experience working to operational KPIs and service targets
  • Good understanding of warehouse processes, including inbound and outbound operations
  • Confident using IT systems and reporting tools
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage teams at all levels
  • Proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of your area
  • Positive, adaptable, and resilient approach in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience within food manufacturing or distribution environments would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems such as M3 would be beneficial

What’s in it for you

  • Enhanced Maternity & Paternity Leave to allow quality time with your new arrival!
  • Enhanced Pension Scheme for our employees
