Main goal

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the EURO 2028 Promotion Specialist will play a central role in shaping and delivering the tournament's multi-year, multi-market promotional programme across the UK and Ireland as well as in priority markets around the world, with the aim of engaging a new generation of fans and expanding the tournament's audience.

Key responsibilities

Programme development and delivery:

  • Contributing to the design and execution of integrated promotional campaigns throughout the planning, launch and delivery of UEFA EURO 2028
  • Ensuring that all activations are compatible with the overarching creative platform and the audience growth and engagement objectives

Creator and cultural programme:

  • Supporting the development and delivery of the UEFA EURO 2028 creator, influencer and celebrity programme to ensure visibility across social media and in youth culture
  • Helping to identify and integrate creators and cultural partners for key campaign moments and areas, including music, gaming, digital products and events
  • Ensuring that talent activations are consistent, scalable and aligned across different workstreams rather than being delivered in isolation
  • Working with agencies to source, evaluate and manage creators based on audience fit, performance and strategic relevance

Cross-functional coordination:

  • Acting as a central point of contact for UEFA teams (e.g. marketing, digital, communications, partnerships, media rights) and the local organising structure
  • Managing timelines, dependencies and alignment across multiple parallel workstreams

Agency and partner integration:

  • Managing a range of agencies (creative, media, public relations, influencer/talent), ensuring the quality of their services/deliverables and efficient use of resources
  • Identifying and developing opportunities to integrate sponsors, broadcasters and partners into the promotional programme in a way that adds cultural and commercial value

Planning, insights & performance:

  • Contributing to campaign planning, budget management and KPI setting
  • Monitoring performance, supporting reporting and ensuring that insights are translated into actionable improvements

Requirements

Experience:

  • From 4 to 6 years of experience in marketing, campaigns or brand activation
  • From 1 to 3 years of experience in sports marketing

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, media or business

Languages:

  • English: Proficient

Other requirements:

- Relocation to Switzerland or nearby France is expected

- Experience delivering multi-market or large-scale campaigns, ideally in sport, entertainment or culture-led environments

- Hands-on experience working with creators, influencers or talent, either through agencies or directly

- A good understanding of how brands show up in youth culture, social platforms, music, gaming and digital communities

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for a complex, multi-stakeholder environment

- Good judgement and the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery

- Excellent organisation and coordination skills in order to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously

- A proactive, solution-oriented attitude to drive projects forward

- Ability to operate at pace without losing attention to detail
