About the Role & Team

IDC4EU is IDC's dedicated European Government Consulting team, specialising in securing and executing European Commission-funded research and innovation projects across key technology domains including Data & AI, Cloud-Edge-IoT, Connectivity, Semiconductors, and the Twin Transition.

Led by a strong expert team with decades of combined IDC and industry experience, we manage the full project lifecycle — from policy analysis and tender scouting, through consortium building and proposal writing, to financial management and project execution.

What You’ll Do

In the capacity of the role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • As EU Consultant, Provide support to the management of European studies and projects, including organizing meetings, workshops, preparing minutes, draft presentations, formatting and editing reports;
  • Provide support to proposals preparation with a specific focus on administrative documentation;
  • Manage updating of content and communication flows on projects websites, Twitter, Linkedin;
  • Support the design and implementation of online surveys, partners/contacts databases an engagement activities;
  • Promote IDC and the IDC4EU brand and research through social media and conferencing activities;
  • Contribute to the development of IDC4EU research and consulting practices and methods;

What You Bring

This position calls for a highly motivated individual with interest in technology innovation and European policies. The successful candidate will be flexible, collaborative, willing to learn, and is expected to show problem-solving capabilities and initiative in dealing with everyday problems while being a team player.

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (i.e. Political Sciences, Economics or Business). Advanced Degree a plus.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI tools, generative AI, or automation tools to improve productivity, analysis, and insight generation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information
  • Good working knowledge of Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Have good teamwork, self-organization and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in EU project management would be a strong plus
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must;
  • Understanding and passion for enterprise technology and its application in business is a plus
