eBay Collectibles is looking for an EU Inventory Insights Manager to drive deep understanding of where to play and how to win within the broad and diverse collectibles market. This analytics pro will leverage data to advise where we focus incentives, seller acquisition efforts, buyer programming, retention/loyalty, and where we should execute our strategy across the entire EU collectibles portfolio. This role’s remit encompasses critical analytics work that will inform strategy and operational day-to-day decision making within one of eBay's most passionate and rapidly expanding categories. The ideal candidate will possess a complete analytical toolkit including how to synthesize data into actionable strategic and operational insights.

About the Role
This is a critical analytics role for the European Collectibles team, whose charter is to grow the category by continuing to make eBay a trusted and top-of-mind destination for Collectors. We are looking for someone to enable strategy execution. You will support initiatives ranging from analyzing data to understanding what is eBay’s next focus area to optimizing existing operations. You will also partner with the category managers within EU Collectibles, the wider global Collectibles teams, the Product and Technology teams, and other business teams on different initiatives. This role requires someone who has the technical skills to extract and analyze data as well as develop visualizations to communicate insights in an easily digestible way.
Responsibilities
Extract data and derive data-driven insights to inform decision making
Support development of A/B tests related to buyer and seller trust, behavior, and inventory velocity
Build reporting dashboards and scorecards
Support data needs for operating and strategic discussions with the Collectibles leadership team
Support the development of executive-ready presentations on strategy and operational updates
Work cross-functionally with peer analytics partners to develop comprehensive tools and business recommendations
Qualifications
Experience:
5-7 years in analytics
Technical requirements:
Advanced SQL coding (+ demonstrated expertise working with and pulling data from Data Warehouse)
Advanced MS Excel
Demonstrated expertise developing and updating scorecards / dashboards in Tableau and MS Excel
Proficient in MS Powerpoint and Google Presentations
Other requirements/differentiators:
Able to thoughtfully apply detailed logic and methods to solve problems and enable decision making
Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners
Track record of presenting ideas and directions to influence others into taking desired actions
Able to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into concrete information to get results
Strong communications, including the ability to tell a compelling story backed by data
Desire to engage with customers directly and passionate about helping eBay win!
