Job Description

What you’ll do

Fully responsible for all products related engineering, to build up a development force which will provide solutions for customer demands.

  • Manages team for design the inspection points of the products to meet the engineering specification and implement error prove technology into manufacturing process.
  • Participate in redesigns of the products to fulfil the requirements in the market.
  • Works in a team to localize the products, including material, parts, components, deeper production etc. Fully execute company’s localization plan and related product strategy.
  • Works the new products transfer into the mass production in cooperation with Eaton different locations, departments to follow up Pro-launch process.
  • Organizes the product audit to make sure that the production must be with Chinese regulations.
  • Works with OPEX team to design the process and layout of the production lines and meets the main requirement, such as safety, productivity and quality.
  • Analyse product costs and sponsor engineering related cost reduction projects. Gives technical support to the other department and train operators if necessary.
  • Coordinates the product management, project management and develops staff.
  • Contact customers directly for technical, logistics, payment etc. that is related to contract terms.
  • Develop and deploy the internal customer order process, drive continues improvement on the customer response chain efficiency, enable customer access model.
  • Drive improvement of on time delivery to promise and request among sales and operational team, become a strong competitor in China power market.
  • Implements Eaton management tools in necessary area for example EBE, ELSS etc. to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or above, major in Electrical or Automation
  • 10 years practical experience in comparable positions.
  • Min 5 year's management experience.
  • Familiar in the related GB or IEC standards and design program, Strong technical skills, In depth knowledge of electrical power systems. In depth product knowledge of assembly and components.
  • Fluent writing & spoken in English.
  • Good communication skills;
  • Organization, coordination and motivation power;
  • Strong analytical skills.
