Get To Know Our Team:

A dynamic development build team, known as Global Servicing Platform (GSP) at SS&C Global International Distribution System (GIDS) leading implementation of information management and represented in reports, dashboards and data platforms supporting diversified investment systems across Collectives and Wealth platforms within the e.g. Global Data Platform (GDP), Service Insight Dashboard (SID) and Fund Manager Report (FMR).

Undertaking changes and projects from client initiatives, enhancement, automations and modernisation efforts. Team members drive the entire software development life cycle, from shaping business requirements to designing comprehensive technical solutions, implementing with security considerations and ensuring quality in the delivery. The deployments adhere to the structured SS&C enterprise change management framework, ensuring precision and excellence through continuous deployment process.

What You Will Get To Do:

• Provide technical Support, specifying functions, develop test and document computer programs by performing the following duties:

• Develop new software to support business requirements following design and coding standards. Unit Testing of your programs following set standards.

• Develop automated test functions Ensuring the implementation and adherence to the SS&C Security Policies.

• Analyse new problems to formulate an overall design for the system.

• Write documents to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections.

• Provide technical advice to junior team members.

• Lead junior programmer(s) on small and medium projects.

• Liaise with technical lead of a release for all progress updates or complete any other appropriate ad hoc tasks as directed by your manager.

What You Will Bring:

• Degree in computer science or related field

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience of:

  • Relational DB concept

  • SQL, PL/SQL, Postgres, Oracle Database, ETL

• Strong technical and analytical skills

• Good English communication skills

• Broad knowledge of data modelling and database platforms

• Familiar with the following is an advantage:

  • AWS services

  • Pentaho

  • GitHub Pipeline

  • Kafka

  • Apache Superset

• A passion for data analysis and solutions is an advantage.
