Contract Length: 5 months + extensions
Serves as the technical expert for one or more enterprise products, ensuring their availability, performance, and effective use across development and operational environments. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize product functionality, guide enhancements, and support modernization initiatives, including the transition from legacy systems to cloud-based solutions.
Duties:
Function as the technical SME for an enterprise-wide system.
Lead and support the implementation of products and services.
Provide direct technical expertise for high-security and executive-level applications.
Recommend functional and technical improvements to enhance product performance.
Analyze the impact of product planning decisions on both functionality and technical architecture.
Establish functional and usability standards for supported products.
Track and document product usage patterns, volume, and system demand.
Participate in product design reviews to ensure alignment with quality and technical requirements.
Perform impact analyses on fixes and enhancements to determine priority.
Provide product support by delivering accurate, timely responses to complex technical inquiries.
Offer on-site technical support when required.
Accurately assess and assign severity levels for identified defects.
Contribute to training and documentation related to new product features and design changes.
Document all work thoroughly for reference and audit purposes.
Review system test approaches and validate test scenario foundations.
Troubleshoot and resolve bi-directional synchronization issues between system tables and data fields.
Develop a roadmap for sunsetting legacy system functionality.
Act as a proxy Product Owner by attending standups, defining features, and writing user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure ADO.
Lead business user testing and validation for system enhancements.
Manage and update the OnBase taxonomy, including creating new document groups and document types as needed.
Required Skills:
7 years of experience with MS Access and SQL Server (T-SQL) development.
7 years of experience creating stored procedures and triggers to support bi-directional synchronization between systems (RICS and JMT).
7 years of experience writing SQL queries for data cleanup and resolving orphaned data.
7 years of experience developing ETL processes between systems.
5 years of experience resolving OnBase issues related to transferring legacy documents into updated taxonomy structures.
3 years of hands-on experience working within Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
Experience documenting all requirements in Azure DevOps (ADO).
Experience using Visio to document system and synchronization processes.
