& Summary
A Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that strategic objectives, operational needs, and technical solutions stay fully aligned throughout large-scale digital transformation efforts. Working across sectors such as financial services, government, energy, retail, healthcare, telecom, and transportation, the business analyst drives process improvements, customer‑focused design, and data‑driven decisions. Operating in complex environments with multiple vendors, regulators, and cross‑border teams, the analyst supports initiatives ranging from enterprise platforms and digital products to data ecosystems and emerging technologies, helping organizations achieve solutions that are both practical and impactful.
Core Responsibilities:
Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements using appropriate techniques (interviews, workshops, journey mapping, document analysis).
Produce clear and structured artifacts including:
Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
User Stories, Epics, and Acceptance Criteria
Process flows, decision tables, and data mappings
Conduct As-Is and To-Be process analysis across business, operational, and system layers to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Support Agile, hybrid, and waterfall delivery models, including:
Backlog creation and refinement
Sprint planning and reviews
Dependency and risk identification
UAT planning, execution, and defect triage
Define and track business KPIs, operational metrics, and value realization indicators.
Collaborate on dashboarding and reporting requirements to support executive, operational, and regulatory reporting.
Ensure solutions comply with:
Organizational architecture and governance standards
Regional regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., data privacy, financial regulations)
Facilitate and lead stakeholder workshops, steering discussions, resolving ambiguities, and aligning priorities across business and technology.
Develop business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and support investment decision-making.
Support change management activities, including:
Impact assessments
Communication plans
SOP updates
End-user training materials
Actively monitor regional market trends, industry benchmarks, and digital best practices to continuously improve solution quality and delivery effectiveness.
Business Analysis Tools & Technologies:
· Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps for backlog management
· Miro, Visio, Lucid, or similar tools for process mapping and workshop facilitation
· BPMN and UML modeling standards
· SQL for data exploration, validation, and analysis
· Power BI for dashboarding and management reporting
· ERP (e.g., finance, procurement, HR modules) and CRM and customer engagement platforms
· Core banking, insurance, Governmental or industry-specific systems
· API-based integrations and microservices-oriented architecture
· Cloud platforms and SaaS solutions
· Digital channels (web, mobile apps, portals) and workflow and case management systems
Professional Skills:
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
· Excellent written and verbal Arabic and English Language skills
· Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and executives
· Structured thinking, attention to detail, customer centric and delivery focus
· Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous, and multicultural environments
