As an ETF Transfer Agent Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a crucial role in our fund servicing operations. You will be responsible for the seamless intake, validation, and processing of creation and redemption orders for a diverse suite of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) across multiple clients. You will also apply your knowledge of fund servicing to ensure smooth operations, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements. Your emotional intelligence will help you build strong relationships and influence better outcomes. Job responsibilities  
  • Execute end-to-end processing of primary market creation and redemption orders from Authorized Participants (APs) via J.P. Morgan proprietary portals and industry platforms.
  • Validate order instructions against fund documentation and operating procedures, including cut-off times, basket composition, and settlement instructions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for APs, Capital Markets desks, and internal portfolio management partners to resolve trade discrepancies and time-sensitive breaks.
  • Partner with Custody and Fund Accounting to ensure timely delivery/receipt of underlying securities and cash components to support settlement.
  • Perform accurate reconciliations and exception management within tight market deadlines; escalate issues and risks appropriately.
  • Collaborate with Operations and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement using innovation/design-thinking approaches.
  • Adhere to AML/KYC and applicable regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC, UCITS) and maintain strong operational risk and control discipline.
  • Follow information security policies and cybersecurity best practices; identify and escalate suspicious activity or control gaps.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills  
  • 1+ years of experience in fund servicing operations (or equivalent), executing routine transactions and supporting process improvements.
  • Strong Excel skills; experience with clearing/settlement systems (e.g., NSCC/DTC, Euroclear) and/or Transfer Agency platforms.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail with high-volume data entry and complex reconciliations under time pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to handle high-pressure interactions with institutional clients.
