GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
The Emergency Services Support Services Coordinator is responsible for managing logistical operations and providing essential support to all divisions within Emergency Services. This role ensures that equipment, facilities, and resources are effectively maintained and available to support routine operations and emergency responses.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS
An employee in this class is responsible for overseeing the management and maintenance of the Department's physical infrastructure, vehicles, and equipment. This is achieved through effective coordination with internal departments, external vendors, and partner agencies. Performance is evaluated for alignment with departmental goals through regular conferences, reports, and record reviews.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma and three (3) years of experience in logistics, facility management, or emergency services operations. Current driver license required.
Special Requirements:
Must obtain within one year, EMT, FEMA Incident Command System (ICS) certifications (ICS 100, 200, 300, and 700), Forklift Operators License and Class B driver license.

Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
An employee in this position must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. The employee must be able to perform medium work exerting in excess of 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
May Require Driving
This position may require driving for this position whether driving a County owned or personal vehicle to conduct county business such as but not limited to attending conferences, meetings, or any other county related functions. Motor Vehicle Reports may be verified for valid driver’s license and that the driving record is compatible with the county’s driving criteria.
If a personal vehicle is operated for county business proper insurance is maintained as per Guilford County’s vehicle use policy.
