This role offers an opportunity for an experienced Estonian voice professional to contribute directly to the development of next-generation AI voice technologies.
You will use your vocal expertise to create and evaluate high-quality training data for advanced language and speech models.
The work combines professional voice performance with linguistic evaluation, annotation, and AI-assisted testing.
You’ll assess pronunciation, tone, pacing, emotional expression, and naturalness across a variety of speech samples.
Your feedback will help improve how AI systems understand and reproduce authentic Estonian speech.
The role is well suited to detail-oriented voice professionals who are curious about emerging technology and passionate about language.

• Record scripted speech material in Estonian for use in AI training and evaluation datasets.
• Evaluate AI-generated voice outputs for pronunciation, linguistic accuracy, naturalness, tone, pacing, and overall quality.
• Provide nuanced feedback on emotional expression, vocal delivery, regional variation, and other characteristics of authentic Estonian speech.
• Identify and annotate errors or inconsistencies in AI-generated speech and clearly document your observations.
• Work with project teams to refine prompts, evaluation methodologies, and voice-design guidelines.
• Apply professional voice-acting judgment to help distinguish natural, expressive speech from outputs that require improvement.
• Contribute consistently high-quality recordings and structured evaluations while following project guidelines and technical requirements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience in voice acting, dubbing, narration, or related performance work in Estonian.
• Strong command of Estonian pronunciation, intonation, pacing, and natural spoken expression.
• Ability to deliver clear, authentic, and consistent vocal performances across scripted material.
• Excellent attention to detail when evaluating pronunciation, tone, emotional expression, and linguistic accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and actionable feedback.
• Experience in voice training, coaching, linguistic annotation, language evaluation, or similar work is a plus.
• Interest in AI, speech technologies, language models, or technology evaluation is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote freelance environment.
• Access to a high-quality recording setup, including a reliable microphone and quiet recording environment.
• Secure computer and stable internet connection suitable for completing recording and evaluation tasks.
