Job Description

Representing a leader in the industry, we are searching for an experienced Concrete Estimator/Project Manager to join their team in upstate New York (Rensselaer County) in the heavy civil arena.  IMMEDIATE 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop complete and accurate bid proposal for concrete and building work including quantity take-off, crew composition, material and subcontractor pricing
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Attend pre-bid and progress meetings with the owner, vendors and subcontractors
  • Outline and communicate specifications to superintendents and foreperson
  • Procure materials for the project
  • Track project costs and cash flow to ensure project is completed on budget and on time
  • Develop business relationships to increase bid opportunities

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Associates degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred
  • Computer literacy in the following softwares:  Construction Link Estimating, CPM Scheduling, Foundations Accounting, Bluebeam/Adobe Pro, MS Office Suite
  • Excellent communication, written & verbal
  • Attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of means and methods, crew composition, production rates for Building Construction, Structural Concrete & Flatware Concrete

  • Candidates must past a pre-employment drug screening
  • Minimum of 3-5 documented years of experience
