Estimator – Traffic Signals & Civil

Hybrid/Remote options available for highly qualified candidates

We're looking for an experienced Estimator with a strong electrical, civil, or construction background to support transportation and municipal infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a Senior Estimator with the potential to grow into a long-term leadership role.

What You'll Do

• Prepare estimates for traffic signals, ITS, roadway lighting, pump stations, airport electrical, and civil projects
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications
• Estimate electrical and civil construction components
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
• Identify project risks, constructability concerns, and value-engineering opportunities
• Collaborate with PMs, field operations, vendors, and leadership
• Prepare competitive bids and support project handoffs

What We're Looking For

• 5–7 years of construction-related experience
• Estimating, project management, field supervision, or skilled trades experience
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and contract documents
• Working knowledge of electrical and/or civil construction
• Strong Excel, mathematical, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with DOT, municipal, county, or public works projects is a plus

Preferred: Traffic Signal Technician, Journeyman Electrician, Civil/Construction background, or experience estimating traffic signals, ITS, roadway lighting, drainage, curb, sidewalk, or roadway improvements.
