VVG is looking for an Estimator to join our team for following hours: Monday-Friday between 7:00am-3:30pm!
What You’ll Do:
In the role of Estimator, you will primarily be responsible in writing 90% of the estimates, supervises the day-to-day operations of the Service Department, schedules the flow of work in the shop, manages body shop technicians, visits customers, provides estimates for customers, and inspects work done to ensure quality.
The ideal candidate for the Service Estimator is a self-motivated and results-driven team player with superior customer service and interpersonal skills. A successful candidate in this position will have a strong background in estimating and preferably in an automotive, dealership or body shop setting.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provides 90% of all estimates to customers
• Opens and closes repair orders
• Generates purchase orders
• Provides customer service for department
• Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations
• Develops and communicates the company’s values, vision and mission
Education and Experience:
• Proficient in computer skills is required
• Automotive technician experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Self-motivated and self-starter
• Positive attitude
• Excellent organizational skills
• Sets goals and priorities
Compensation:
• Base Pay: $24-$28/hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
• Plus Commission Plan
• Full Time position

Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods standing
• Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to pass post-offer drug screening, physical examination (including a lift test), and background check
