- Perform quantity takeoffs and progress evaluations for demolition and construction scopes
- Identify discrepancies, scope gaps, RFIs, and potential change order opportunities
- Assist in preparing conceptual and time-and-material estimates using labor, equipment, disposal, and production assumptions
- Communicate directly with superintendents, project managers, and clients to clarify project scope and field conditions
- Track drawing revisions and summarize scope impacts in clear written narratives
- Support billing validation by reconciling completed work against contractual scope
- Identify risks related to remobilization, missed scope, sequencing conflicts, or underbilling
- Develop a practical understanding of how drawings relate to field operations and construction means & methods
- Perform any additional responsibilities assigned by management.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in estimating, construction coordination, or related construction trades
- Strong ability to read and interpret structural, demolition, and architectural plans
- Understanding of US construction practices, terminology, materials, and field operations
- Familiarity with demolition sequencing, temporary shoring concepts, and structural considerations is strongly preferred
- Ability to independently analyze plans and understand project scope without extensive guidance
- Experience with quantity takeoffs, progress tracking, estimating, or field coordination
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to ask meaningful technical questions and identify missing information proactively
- Proficiency in Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Excel, and Google Sheets
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable communicating directly with US-based clients and field personnel
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
Deliverables
- Weekly project progress and scope reconciliation reports
- Quantity takeoff summaries
- Scope gap and drawing revision analysis
- Billing readiness recommendations
- Change order and T&M support estimates
- Risk assessments related to sequencing, missed scope, or remobilization
- Clear written summaries explaining project impacts and field implications
