What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required; equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • Progressive construction or preconstruction experience ranging from early career (1–2 years) to senior-level (10+ years), depending on role scope.

  • Valid driver’s license may be required; subject to Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) review in accordance with company policy.

  • Technology proficiency scaled to role, including:
    • Excel and Microsoft O365 (required across all levels)
    • Estimating and takeoff tools (e.g., WinEst, On-Screen Takeoff)
    • Scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) for advanced roles

Nice to Have

  • Foundational to advanced understanding of construction documents, building systems, sitework, and general construction principles.
  • Knowledge of estimating practices including material costs, labor productivity, and conceptual budgeting; depth of expertise aligned with level.
  • Experience with bid types such as GMP and Lump Sum (Hard Bid) preferred/required for senior-level roles.
  • Proficiency or ability to develop proficiency in construction coding systems (MasterFormat, Uniformat, CSI).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; ability to manage, interpret, and validate large datasets for accurate estimating.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn systems and continuously improve estimating accuracy and efficiency.
  • Leadership experience (typically 5+ years) required for management-level roles, including team development and preconstruction strategy oversight.
