
Position: Estimator - Multifamily Experience

Their team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and creating innovative solutions for our clients.
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in multifamily construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of accurately estimating construction costs for multifamily projects, as well as a thorough understanding of the construction process. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project scope
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate and competitive pricing
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and budgets for each project phase
- Identify potential cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities
- Maintain cost database and update pricing information as needed
- Monitor project progress and provide cost updates to project team
- Participate in bid meetings and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers
- Review and negotiate change orders and manage cost impacts
- Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in construction costs
- Assist in developing and implementing cost control procedures
- Communicate effectively with project team and clients regarding cost estimates and budgets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in multifamily construction
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
- Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
