You combine technical expertise with commercial acumen and use sound cost calculations to contribute to the successful planning and execution of our challenging plant engineering projects.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

  • Independently prepare and calculate quotations, including the commercial and technical evaluation of customer inquiries
  • Assess the technical feasibility of projects in close collaboration with Project Management, specialist departments and supervisors
  • Determine, evaluate and optimize project costs, resource requirements and procurement strategies
  • Select and coordinate suitable suppliers together with Purchasing and Project Management
  • Support Project Managers with quotation calculations, material price requests and the commercial planning of projects
  • Maintain the CRM system, prepare quotation reports and support the training and onboarding of new Project Managers in cost calculation and estimating

Show your expertise

  • Successfully completed degree in Plant Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a comparable field
  • Alternatively, completed vocational training in a technical field with further qualification as a technician or master craftsman (m/f/d), ideally in plant engineering or process engineering
  • Professional experience in plant engineering, preferably in high-purity utility systems and GMP environments
  • Very good knowledge of MS Excel; experience with Salesforce is an advantage
  • Business-fluent German skills (at least C1) and very good written and spoken English
  • Strong commercial awareness, analytical thinking and a high level of entrepreneurial and holistic thinking
