Job Description

The Estimator – Mechanical (Data Center) is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical works in data center projects. This includes HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related systems, ensuring compliance with client specifications, industry standards, and project timelines.

• Review and analyze project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine scope of work.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, etc.) specific to data center requirements.
• Obtain, review, and analyze vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Identify potential cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for accurate estimation inputs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain an updated database of material, equipment, and labor costs.
• Prepare technical and commercial bid proposals for submission.
• Assist in post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and contract finalization.
