Job Description
General Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing departments to identify cost drivers and develop external quotes for all products and services
- Identify bills of material from engineering drawings and input into Excel-based pricing sheet to calculate product costs, sales price, and projected profitability
- Communicate directly with external customers and vendors on quoting activities
- Work with functional areas to identify postproduction costs to compare actual versus budgeted profitability
- Maintain tracking on incoming and outgoing quote requests
- Complete and review ad hoc analyses as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Self-motivated
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills; written and verbal.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
- Able to execute responsibilities with minimal supervision, proactively identify and react to potential problems, and effectively communicate with all levels of management.
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills, with ability to identify financial drivers and perform high level/detailed assessments and analyses.
