Estimator — Heavy Civil (Direct Hire)

Client (internal only): Marques General Engineering, Inc. (MGE), Roseville, CA. Heavy civil / general engineering contractor, CSLB #774007A. Public works, wet/dry underground utilities, grading/site work, commercial. Client-blind in all outbound per SBR Brain.

Client contact: Jennifer Scofield, PHR — Director of HR (contact record 47107796). Fee agreement signed 2026-07-21.

Second of two estimating seats MGE is adding (see JO 16834140, Senior Estimator). This is the individual-contributor seat — NOT the lead/director-level role. Both seats are growth adds; nobody left.

Must-haves (L1)

• Heavy civil / general engineering estimating, individual contributor level
• Wet and/or dry underground utility estimating; grading and paving exposure
• Public and private bid experience
• Greater Sacramento / Roseville commuting range
• U.S. work authorization

Strong signals (L2)

• HCSS HeavyBid, Agtek, Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff
• Full takeoff-to-proposal ownership; subcontractor and supplier procurement
• Backgrounds: Granite, Teichert, DeSilva Gates, Mozingo, RGW, ProVen, Sukut and similar heavy-civil GCs
