Job Description

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Estimator role in Phoenix, AZ. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation, precision, and a commitment to delivering exceptional products and services. With a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, they pride themselves on maintaining excellence throughout every phase of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates based on project specifications, drawings, and customer requirements.
· Review blueprints, technical documents, and project plans to determine labor, material, and equipment costs.
· Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to develop competitive and realistic project bids.
· Analyze project scope and identify potential risks, cost-saving opportunities, and pricing strategies.
· Communicate directly with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to gather pricing and clarify project details.
· Maintain detailed records of estimates, bids, and project documentation for future reference and reporting.
· Assist with proposal development, contract reviews, and project handoff to operations teams upon award.
· Monitor market trends, supplier pricing, and material costs to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
· Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process efficiencies and improving estimating procedures.
· Ensure all estimates align with company standards, profitability goals, and customer expectations.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
· Previous experience as an Estimator in manufacturing, construction, industrial, or related industries preferred.
· Strong understanding of project costing, bid preparation, and estimating software/tools.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
· Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP or estimating software is a plus.
