Our award-winning client is seeking a Estimator to join their team.We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our team. You'll play a pivotal role in designing and leading the entire estimating process, ensuring our success in bidding and winning projects.

Responsibilities:

• Be the mastermind behind our estimates for large-scale projects exceeding $5 million, like water lines, stormwater systems, wastewater treatment, and restoration initiatives.

• Collaborate effectively with owners, engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve technical hurdles throughout the project lifecycle – from planning to execution.

• Partner with the leadership team to identify new business opportunities and develop winning bid strategies.

• Leverage your expertise in construction methods, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate take-offs and cost analysis.

• Manage subcontractor bids and integrate them seamlessly into our proposals.

• Actively participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and pre-construction planning sessions.

• Maintain meticulous cost estimates and quantities.

• Stay ahead of the curve by implementing best practices and utilizing cutting-edge estimating software.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a Heavy Civil Estimator.

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).

• Experience with construction project management software (preferred).

• Knowledge of government contracting regulations (preferred).

• A keen analytical mind and the ability to take initiative.

• A passion for innovation coupled with a meticulous approach to project details.

• In-depth understanding of heavy civil construction practices, market trends, and best practices within our focus areas.
