The opportunity

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a talented Estimator looking to take the next step in their career. This is a key role and a crucial part of our successful Wellington Projects & Interiors team, where you will be involved with the divisions bid preparation and post tender negotiations.

To be successful in this role you will have a commercial construction background, be commercially astute and be able to demonstrate your ability to produce high quality tenders at the right price and risk profile.

Key attributes for this position include:

  • A strong background in commercial construction and quantity surveying, including pre-construction services and quantity surveying

  • Proven experience with estimating software

  • Exceptional time management skills

  • Excellent negotiation abilities and a talent for building business relationships

  • The ability to communicate professionally and effectively at all levels

  • Leadership skills to motivate and develop team members to reach their potential

  • A team-oriented mindset, taking personal ownership and responsibility for results
